About us

Bringing biblical ethics to Everyday issues.

Have you ever pondered whether it might be okay to lie? Or whether Christians should think differently about friendship and Facebook? Or even wondered what to say to a friend thinking about contraception or IVF?

The Centre for Christian Living (CCL) was established in 2010 by Dr. Andrew Cameron (now Director of St Mark’s National Theological Centre, Canberra).

It was established as an initiative of Moore Theological College to theologically consider ethical issues facing 21st century Christians. CCL endeavours to do this primarily by making the biblical wisdom of Moore College faculty accessible to the Christian community through a number of evening events during the year.

Tony Payne

Tony has had a lasting career as a published writer, as well being a long-time worker at Matthias Media. “For most days of most weeks over the past 25 years I’ve been thinking and writing about how the theology I learned at Moore College applies to the practical issues of living as a Christian” commented Tony at the time of his appointment. Tony will continue his writing ministry at Matthias Media’s new GoThereFor.com platform alongside his role at Moore College.

CCL Administrator:

Emma Newling
